News Summary of Collaboration and Shared Services from 13th July 2016

What will the impact of a new Prime Minister be, on collaborative working?

For blue light, there was a very strong emphasis from Theresa May at the Home Office, on integration of the emergency services under PCCs. A new Home Office Minister may have different priorities in order to make their mark, but it is unlikely.

When Greg Clark took over at Communities and Local Government, he saw Devolution and Combined Authorities as a higher priority than the shared services agenda of Eric Pickles; the consensus move to shared service activities being seen as an inevitable sub-set of combined authority and devolution outcomes.

It is doubtful that the integration of Health and Social Care would be halted, and the NHS will continue to re-organise itself through collaborative activity in localities.

So, the growth of jobs and consultancy for collaborative working professionals like you, looks set to continue to grow.

Here is the rest of the news and jobs from the last seven days...
